Plastic pollution and micro plastics are two issues that are lacking crucial attention. We should focus more on this topic because we are currently at a fork in the road which could lead us to a healthy planet or one that may not be sustainable for life anymore. This talk encompasses effects of plastic pollution and ways to do your part in being part of the solution.

When not in school, she loves to go out on her boat with family and friends. She first noticed how much trash and plastic was littering the Connecticut Shore and Long Island Sound. This began a journey into how to change our purchasing of plastics.
