The thrill of learning at the edge of your seat

You know that feeling when you're learning something new, and you're at the edge of your seat because you can't believe what you're hearing? That's what Lucia Martin calls "getting your mind blown" and she credits these jaw-dropping moments with creating passion and instilling drive. In this effusive Talk, Lucia recounts how a deck of cards and the concept of infinity revolutionized her world, and she explains why having our minds blown is essential for cultivating an inspired will to learn. "Getting your mind blown is the beginning of opening your eyes to a whole new world of knowledge."
