Addressing the Female Athlete Triad Condition | Kiarra D’Arcangelo | Rolling Hills Middle School
Kiarra's TEDTalk is inspired by the experiences and challenges she has faced as a competitive female athlete. She wants to use her voice to help promote the importance of healthy mind and body development in young female athletes, and to bring awareness to the issue of The Female Athlete Triad. She'd like to acknowledge Dr. Emily Kraus for her mentorship on this important topic, the Chandler Family for their input and feedback, and her parents for their support and encouragement.
Kiarra is a student athlete who competes in cross country, track, and soccer at a national level.
