History of the PBY Catalina
The Consolidated PBY Catalina was an important Allied seaplane used during World War Two for a number of roles, including air-to-sea rescue, patrolling, and anti-submarine warfare. This video describes these roles in more detail and discusses the development and characteristics of the aircraft.
