The Aleutian Islands Campaign of WW2
The Aleutian Islands are a chain of small islands located between Alaska and Russia. Given their strategic importance, American and Japanese forces fought for control of them for over a year during World War Two. This video describes some of the strategy behind the campaign and the major events occurring during it.
