Sree Deepthi Muthukrishnan, Ph.D.
Sree Deepthi Muthukrishnan is training in the lab of Dr. Harley Kornblum. Her research focuses on the radiation-resistant cancer stem cells associated with glioblastoma, a highly aggressive and deadly brain cancer. In this video, she describes how glioblastoma cancer stem cells can convert to cells of the blood vessels and vasculature as a survival mechanism to escape radiation therapy. She hopes her research will lead to a better understanding of glioblastoma tumor growth and relapse.
