Fue una suerte inesperada poder ver a esta espátula común alimentando a su cría. Me sorprendió mucho como era capaz de introducir su enorme pico hasta la garganta de su cría para depositarle el pescado capturado previamente, además de su constancia e insistencia en dicha labor que recuerda la dedicación y paciencia que han tenido muchas madres y padres alimentando a sus hijos.
It was unexpected luck to spot this Eurasian Spoonbill feeding her young. I was very surprised by how she was able to insert her huge beak down the throat of her young to deposit the fish previously caught, in addition to her perseverance and insistence in this task, which recalls the dedication and patience of mothers and fathers when feeding their children.
