Sendero Los Molinos del Río Odiel (Huelva).
El pasado 1 febrero recorrí este sendero con un grupo y quedé gratamente impresionado. Fue un trayecto de 12 km entre el Puente del Villar y la Ermita de Sotiel Coronada. Coincidimos con piragüistas y con motoristas.
El camino transcurre por encima del Río Odiel y pude apreciar sus cambios de colores, según el contenido de los minerales que van disueltos en el agua, yendo del color amarillo, naranja a verde (este último debido a algas).
Dentro del Patrimonio Industrial, pudimos contemplar los molinos de agua del siglo XIX, que utilizaban la fuerza del agua para moler los granos de los cereales y que dejaron de usarse con la aparición de la electricidad. Así como construcciones mineras del siglo XX, como son acueductos, puentes, balsas, concentradores de mineral y evaporadores, todo ello para obtener cobre y otros más.
Dentro de las plantas destacaría los romeros en flor, la "Erophaca baetica", conocido como garbancillo del diablo entre otros y cuya ingestión es tóxica por su alto contenido en alcaloide. resaltaría también, los brezos rosas y su variedad endémica del Andévalo, que es la "Erica andevalensis" que está adaptada a los suelos muy ácidos. El color verde intenso de los pinos de esta zona, me encantó.

Last February 1 I traveled this path with a group and I was pleasantly impressed. It was a 12 km journey from the Villar Bridge to the Sotiel Coronada Hermitage. We agree with canoeists and motorbikers. The path passes over the Odiel River and I could appreciate its colour changes, depending on the content of the minerals that are dissolved in the water, going from yellow, orange to green (the latter due to algae). Within the Industrial Heritage, we were able to contemplate the water mills of the 19th century, which used the force of water to grind the grains of the cereals and that stopped being used with the appearance of electricity. As well as mining constructions of the twentieth century, such as aqueducts, bridges, rafts, ore concentrators and evaporators, all to obtain copper and others. Among the plants, the rosemary in bloom, the "Erophaca baetica", known as the devil's chickpea among others and whose ingestion is toxic due to its high alkaloid content. I would also highlight the pink heather and its endemic variety of Andévalo, which is the "Erica andevalensis" that is adapted to very acidic soils. The intense green colour of the pine trees in this area, I loved it.
