Río Arnoia (Allariz). Arnoia river

El río Arnoya (en gallego Arnoia) es el río más largo (84,5 Km), de la provincia de Orense en Galicia. Nace en la localidad de Villar del Barrio, atraviesa las localidades de Villar del Barrio, Baños de Molgas, Junqueira de Ambía, Allariz, La Merca y Celanova, finalmente llega al municipio de Arnoya (Arnoia) y desemboca en el río Miño.
En esta ocasión pude pasear por el paseo fluvial en Allariz, donde me llamó mucho la atención las diferentes estanques formadas con piedras, dando lugar a pequeñas cascadas, que aprovecha muy bien la garza real para pescar, así como sus aguas tranquilas y oscuras, donde se reflejan muy bien los árboles de las orillas. Este trasfondo oscuro es debido a los incendios y a las posteriores lluvias con arrastre de las cenizas que acaban en el fondo de los diferentes estanques. Es un placer pasear por el paseo fluvial, contemplando el paisaje y escuchando el sonido relajante del agua cayendo por las piedras en los finales de cada estanque.
The Arnoya River (in Galician Arnoia) is the longest river (84.5 km) in the province of Orense, Galicia. It originates in the municipality of Villar del Barrio, crosses the municipalities of Villar del Barrio, Baños de Molgas, Junqueira de Ambía, Allariz, La Merca and Celanova, finally reaching the municipality of Arnoya, and empties into the river Miño.
On this occasion, I was able to walk along the river walk in Allariz, where the different ponds formed with stones caught my attention, giving rise to small waterfalls, which the grey heron makes good use of for fishing, as well as its calm and dark waters, where the trees on the banks are very well reflected. This dark background is due to the fires and the subsequent rains, with the dragging of the ashes that end up at the bottom of the different ponds. It is a pleasure to walk along the river walk, contemplating the landscape and listening to the relaxing sound of the water falling over the stones at the ends of each pond.
