You Keep Going Anyway

What do you do if you fail? What do you do if you make a mistake? What do you do if people tell you it can’t be done?
You keep going anyway. Not everything you do is going to work. In some cases all of your options will fail. But that doesn’t mean you stop. That doesn’t mean you back down. You just have to be a real man or a real woman and face the consequences.
The body and the brain has an amazing ability to recover. I’ve seen people recover from injuries, accidents, traumas. There’s nothing you can’t come back from. Always remind yourself that no matter how bad you’ve had it, there’s someone who had it worse. And that’s not supposed to rub it in anyone’s face. It just to encourage you that there are worse consequences out there.
When you think there is a conflict that won’t let you advance in life, it’s usually created by you. It’s hard to admit that. But you have to realize you take responsibility for yourself.
No matter what you want in life, you can get it. It’s just a question of time, effort, and opportunity. I know you’re willing to put in the effort. You wouldn’t be here talking and listening to motivation stories if you didn’t.
Do you have the time to pursue your goals? Most people work a 9 to 5 jobs. Go to school full time. They have to help their family. All of these things are important but they can dilute your efforts. It’s challenging to find the time.
Lastly do you have the opportunity? Sometimes opportunity is luck. Being in the right place at the right time. You can’t control that. Don’t even think about that. It wasn’t you. If you’re going to get lucky, consider it a bonus. But you can put yourself in a place that will give you opportunity. An opportunity to meet the right people. An opportunity to have the time to get your goals completed. An opportunity to learn. An opportunity to make money.
And this opportunity doesn’t come from watching netflix reruns at home on your tv. It’s not at the bottom of a glass of beer. It’s not in a McDonald’s restaurant. It comes from hard work, smart work, research, and showing some fortitude. Because strong people will admire your fortitude and give you a chance.
