What do we know about Dreams?

Every night, when you go to sleep, eventually you get hit by a series of thoughts, images, emotions and even ideas - you dream. This is probably one of the weirdest things we humans do. Framing this experience varies across cultures and time - in other words, everyone has an idea of what dreams are. Scientifically, well, we're divided in this field too - there's actually no definitive answer as to why we dream, what they represent or even how they work. Today we dive deep into the fuzzy, unreal and unexplained realm of dreams.
