Natural Language Processing (NLP): Algorithms Overview
Natural language processing (NLP) algorithms include document vectorization methods, such as term frequency * inverse document frequency (tf-idf) and Word2Vec / Doc2Vec, along with newer methods such as BERT. Once each document is represented as a vector of terms, the documents can be clustered, or a method such as Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) can be used for topic mapping. This vid overviews these methods, and sets the stage for the coming multi-part vid series on NLP.
