Cyndi Lauper participated in North American television presenter Martha Stewart's year-end special in 2000, singing the song Winter Wonderland.
In the TV special, Martha wished it would snow so that Christmas would be white, covered in snow, the famous "White Christmas", but her yard was still green with no sign of snow, so she falls asleep thinking about it and dreams about Cyndi singing in a place covered in snow and children celebrating.
