The Sailor's Grave on the Prairie

Written by Leo Kottke nearly 50 years ago, “The Sailor’s Grave on the Prairie” is a fine example of his early work with a slide on the 12 string guitar. This tune appeared on his “6 and 12-String Guitar” album (also known as the “Armadillo” album) released in 1969, and has been covered by numerous guitarists since then.
