You sued your doctor.
For medical malpractice.
You claim he was careless.

You claim his wrongdoing caused you harm.
You also claim your injuries are permanent.
Your doctor denies all of your allegations.

He says "Why are you suing me? I did nothing wrong!"
Then he says "Even if I did something wrong, so did you Mr. Patient."
Then he says "If I did something wrong, whatever I did didn't cause you harm."
Finally, he claims that "Even if I did something wrong and I caused you injury, your injuries aren't that bad."
