Conjunctivitis often called Pink eye is an infection or swelling in your conjunctiva, which is a thin, transparent membrane that lies over the inner surface of the eyelid and covers the white part of your eye. You can have conjunctivitis in one or both eyes.
Symptoms of Conjunctivitis:
*The feeling that something is in your eye
*Red, burning and itchy eyes
*Rainful eyes or sticky eyes
*Puffy eyelids and Blurry or hazy vision
*Being extra sensitive to light
There are three main categories of Conjunctivitis: Viral, Bacterial and Allergic conjunctivitis.
Most cases of conjunctivitis do not require a doctor, as complications are rare. Speak to a pharmacist about conjunctivitis.
