Confederate General Demands Supplies From Town of Gettysburg

The Army of Northern Virginia made its first appearance in Gettysburg on June 26, 1863. General Jubal Early furnished a list of supplies the town of Gettysburg needed to provide the Confederate army. ACHS historian Tim Smith discusses this event and previews an incredible set of documents that will be on display in our new museum in 2023.
