Our final trip in the bus: A stop at the mechanic and final projects
The last few weeks have been a whirlwind.
Packing, cleaning, and tying up loose ends before the bus officially leaves our possession. Last week we moved the bus for the first time in a while and brought it to a local mechanic for a final once-over so we could be assured it was mechanically sound and ready to roll.
The sale is so close to being final that we're really buckling down on the small projects that needed to be done and addressing new projects that we find need to be done along the way, too.
At this point, the bus is in tip-top shape, and with our Vermont Motor Home Registration in hand, we're just waiting for the transport company to come and pick it up.
We will say, this sale has taken so long that it has made the process much more stressful. The transport was supposed to be ordered over a week ago, we have since cleaned and packed everything out only to have the transport company switch the pickup date on us (now like 5 times.)
Next week's video will be the final video of Irie before we are officially in our new home (a large 2-bedroom tent) and will really begin cranking on the new school bus conversion!
Thanks for watching and coming along on this crazy, hectic, stressful, and messy part of our journey. Also, apologies for the more than authentic way of recording. LOL There's been so much going on, and many of these projects are time sensitive so getting it all done- and capturing it, has been a difficult task for me.
