*FOETUS* July 7 1995, 9:30 Club DC

JG Thirwell...AKA...Clint Ruin...AKA..."Foetus" is a pioneer of Industrial rock and horror music. He is also known for his Underground film work; most notably for collaborating (to say the least) with Lydia Lunch in those gritty (to say the least) Richard Kern "cinema of transgression" 16mm classics. So this is that guy. This "Foetus" old 9:30 Club show here, was from the 1995 Verklempt Tour. Many consider the "NAIL" album [Thirsty Ear Records 1985] to be his masterpiece. "Nail" is credited to "Scraping Foetus Off The Wheel"...subject matter was the Manson/Tate murders of 1969....Scary orchestrations and vocals mixed with industrial grade murder rock..This is a heavy album plus some!!! fun fact: DI-1-9026 was the phone # at 10050 Cielo Drive). After the show, Foetus and bardot chatted it up over a couple of Heinekens.
