Gargoyles And Freight Trains Staring Nemo Trimboli

Nemo looked up expecting a gargoyle to fly over the railroad tracks; ahead up around the bend an approaching freight train snaking through the tight mountains of Bear Mountain State Park along the Hudson River...

A Gothic winter day, a cold February day one day before my birthday and medieval like images of the cold rocks covered in ice as the train screams down the rails, in many ways grotesque sculptures engaging and decorating the rocks reflecting substance into this cold day...

Chilly cold but this day is not forgotten as my birthday is on Saturday and Nemo is hurt, his leg is still not healed from an accident in the mountains where he slipped on ice and broke through an icy stream and hyper flexed his right carpus bone and knee.

Thus the reason I took him on a drive to see the gargoyles and the trains as there were no taxicabs at this time of day that went to Bear Mountain State Park... especially in that part of the flaming rails and garbage cans that were lingering along the dead trees and the mildew of black - thicker soiled forgotten spirits of the past...

Nemo loves trains as I use to take him to see the trains where I lived when he was just a puppy and he loves to see them up close; he is not afraid of them, he loves the action...
