Andean Condor Conservation: Training the future guardians of nature

Different types of living communities coexist in Patagonia, both human and other species, and the future of all of them depends on their interaction. To promote a harmonious relationship with nature, Rewilding Chile, together with Proyecto Manku and Fundación Meri, carried out educational workshops around Andean Condor conservation with 120 children from the towns of Cochrane and Chile Chico, the local communities surrounding Patagonia National Park.

Patagonia concentrates 70% of the condor population in Chile, so these types of activities are essential to protect them.

This initiative is part of the collaborative network promoted by Proyecto Manku and Fundación Meri to protect these magnificent birds.
