Meet Air Marshal Raghunath Nambiar | A Kargil War Hero who Bombed Tiger Hill from a Mirage 2000

Hi Good Morning friends,

Mirage 2000 has been the game changer in conjunction with a very specific weapon which was integrated, tested and proven during the Kargil war. The credit of whole operation goes to every Air warrior who was involved in this project during the Operation Safed Sagar.

On this special day, we have a very famous Kargil War Hero and that is Air Marshal Raghunath Nambiar.

Air Marshal R Nambiar retired as Air Officer Commanding in Chief, Western Air Command, in 2019. He served for over 38 years and flew almost 42 types of aircraft. He has been an Experimental test pilot and has the distinction of having flown 2300 hours on the Mirage 2000 aircraft.

So let's hear what Air Marshal Nambiar has to say about their historical mission of attacking on the Tiger Hill which took place on 24 June 1999.
