‘Significant intelligence and capability’ required to sabotage Hezbollah’s pagers
Former CIA Middle East official Norman Roule discusses the simultaneous explosion of hundreds of pagers held by members of Hezbollah in Lebanon killing 11 and injuring 4,000.
“Although Israel has not taken credit for this or responsibility, it’s likely Israel,” Mr Roule told Sky News Australia.
“The nature of the technology used, the large number of pagers involved would require an organisation with significant intelligence, significant capabilities, and a reason to focus on Lebanese Hezbollah.”
