Mucking out the cow shed (Spring) - Part 1

The lambing pens have been put up where it was cleared on Tuesday. It’s a nice morning today! I did some working in the sheep shed first thing and fed all the animals.

Time to start the spring clean mucking out the cow shed. I attached the fork grab onto the Manitou and attached the hydraulic hoses. All working! We removed the barriers at the back of the shed. I then got the tractor and trailer into position.

I had forked the area next to the door where the Manitou can’t get into. We then started removing the muck. It was quite heavy for this Manitou so we had to start with smaller piles.

We made a good start on it today but there will be a lot more mucking out tomorrow before we get it cleared!
