Rescuing a lamb

I started the day by filling up the Honda with petrol. Filled it up full and ready to go! Swift was sitting in the back waiting to go and then went for her usual run next to the bike.

I went to the hen shed to start packing the eggs in the morning, and did that for a few hours. Once it slowed down i moved the pallet of eggs into the store.

It was then time to go round and check the sheep. There is still quite a bit of grass so they don't need feed yet even though they were wanting some! I then moved round the different fields the sheep are in. I noticed one of the lambs was not moving next to one of the fences and when i got over to it i realised it had its head stuck in the fence. It was really stuck and was not going to get out itself. It took me a while but i eventually got it out and it ran off without even saying 'Thanks you'! Anyway i didn't take it personally and waved bye to it before moving on to the next field.

Back at the farmyard i filled up some bags of feed for the cows and calves. I loaded the bags onto the Suzuki quad and went to where one of the groups of cows are. I filled up the calf feeder first before feeding the cows.

On my way home i got some more feed to give to the cows that are in the field next to where i live. Back in the house i hosed down Swift and also my wellied. Swift loves the water hose! In the house i filled up the stove with wood to warm me up!

Thanks for watching!
