It will be a blustery day with widespread heavy showers affecting much of the country, particularly along coastal areas. There is also a risk of thunderstorms, which may bring isolated hail in places. Scotland is expected to see the most persistent and intense showers, and by the end of the day, surface water and localised flooding could develop, potentially affecting travel conditions. Temperatures will remain cool, generally in the mid-teens, with slightly milder conditions in the southeast. - This is the Met Office UK weather forecast for the afternoon of 04/06/2026.
