An unseasonably windy day ahead, especially for the South West and Wales as a low-pressure system brings bands of rain pushing across the country from the west. Turning drier in southwestern areas by the afternoon, while thundery showers pep up at this time and carry on into the evening for central and eastern areas of England, as well as Scotland and Northern Ireland. Cool for the time of year, but a brighter evening for the west with a more settled start to Sunday. - This is the Met Office UK weather forecast for the morning of 06/06/2026.
