Amos Washed after three years - hands so heavy with jiggers clusters

Dan is so tenderhearted. We loved the way he handled his sick brother Amos. Washing him and dressing him and feeding him. It was all so brotherly.
Amos was so jiggered, it took hours to get all those jigger clusters pulled from his skin. But he was finally washed and without jiggers, and in better clothing. A liberating process had begun and it would take weeks but we would get there slowly, one step at a time.
