Torshi or Turshi (Pickle) means sourness. It’s got lots of varieties from all kinds of vegetables to many fruits. For me Torshi is a tasty condiment I can enjoy next to my dish. Many Middle Eastern countries have lots of Pickle recipes and Iran is no exception; we’ve got many many pickle recipes which among them some are very well know such as garlic pickle (SirTorshi), mixed veggie pickle (Torshi Makhlout), cucumber pickle (Khiyar Shoor), pickled onion (Torshi Piyazcheh) & the list goes on…
Making Torshi is very entertaining & you don’t know how time flies while busy with all those beautiful colourful vegetables. Today was a perfect day to make all my favourite ones.

ترشی از ترش میاد و همراهش قطرات آب دهان که با تصورش در دهان شکل میگیرد. ترشیهای زیادی از انواع سبزیجات گرفته تا انواع میوه میتوان درست کرد. برای من ترشی یک چاشنی لذیذ است که در کنار غذا از آن لذت میبرم. ترشی در اصل میراث کشورهای آسیای میانه است و بسیاری از کشورهای این منطقه دستی در انواع ترشیها دارند و کشور ایران از این مقوله مستثنی نیست. ترشیهای رنگارنگ و لذیذ ایرانی اعم از سیر ترشی، ترشی مخلوط، شور، ترشی پیازچه و خیار شور و ….
برای من ترشی انداختن پر از سرگرمی و لذت است و گذر زمان احساس نمیشود امروز یک روز کامل و زیبا برای آماده کردن ترشیهای مورد علاقه ام بود
