Wrist Workout to Build IRON Wrists AND Forearms Workout Dumbbells for BOXING

Solid wrists can be a great asset in manual work, sports, and everyday life. Whether you have carpal tunnel syndrome or some other common wrist injury, gentle wrist exercises can help relieve some of the symptoms associated with those injuries. Wrist strength is also crucial for various sports, including racquet sports, hockey, baseball, and basketball. Strengthen your wrists by doing targeted exercises at the gym or home or by doing advanced exercises and grips.

Exercise 1.
Standing barbell neutral grip internal-external rotations.
10 reps 2 sets of each

Exercise 2
Barbell holds isometrics.
Pronated to supinated 10 seconds x 6 sets
supinated to pronated 10 seconds x 6 sets

Exercise 3
Weighted dowel
Pronated and supinated grip
2 sets to fatigue per position

2-3- times per week for 4 weeks, then take 2 weeks off and repeat. Limit excessive wrist training before hitting the bag and pads.

The forearm muscles are a prime example of a muscle group that we have to rely on every day, both through practical activities and our workouts. Improving the forearm greatly supports the strength of the upper arm and biceps with lifting. Reinforcing the wrists and forearm bones of the upper extremities is essential if you want to lift and maintain a raised weight. With poor conditioning of the forearms, the upper extremities wouldn’t support the kind of weight you can throw around with massive shoulders and biceps.
