Hampi - Bhima's Gate (Behind Ganagitti Jain Temple)
This Bhima's gate is located south of the Royal Enclosure, on the main Hemalapura road, heading west and behind the Jain temple.
Much like the other gates in design, this one has a large sculpture of Bhima leaning against a wall inside the main entrance.
The two identical sculptures on the wall, like Bhima, are from the Mahabharata. Draupadi is standing to the left tying her hair. On the right, Bhima is slaying Kichaka after he tried to molest Draupadi.
