Hampi - Royal Enclosure Mosque

With my interest firmly implanted in the Vijayanagara Empire, and thus the Hindu temples and architecture, I know very little about the Islamic structures in the area, or anywhere else for that matter.
When the Deccan Sultanates defeated the Vijayanagar at the Battle of Talikota in 1565, they soon arrived in Hampi and set about destroying and burning as much as they could. Once the city was in their hands, they settled and built their own structures.
I had no idea at the time, but research has shown that this building was actually a mosque, although I spent most of the video talking about elephants.
