Canggu

WHAT WE GOT UP TO:

Canggu is a hipster’s paradise and we took some rest and relaxation here by enjoying the coolest breakfast spots, detox juice bars and seriously decked out restaurants. Definitely get an ice-cold coconut to enjoy on the beach! 🥥

Places that should be on your list:
👉 The best breakfast at Crate Café
👉 Chilled out drinks and food at Deus Ex Machina
👉 Tasty sweet potato and goats cheese salad at Amo Spa

Seminyak

WHAT WE GOT UP TO:

Slightly further up from Canggu - Seminyak still has a beautiful beach that’s great for long walks or jogs because it’s so long! Expect to walk around a lot here as streets are poorly connected 🚶‍♂️

Places that should be on your list:
👉 Our best hotel yet for a fraction of the price of others - Puri Uma Ratu
👉 Head early to Batubelig Combi and watch the sunset whilst enjoying a Bintang bucket and some reggae
👉 Tuesday night is Taco night! Get messy trying the fish tacos at Sea Circus

Ubud

WHAT WE GOT UP TO:

We shunned the temples and Monkey forest 🙈 and instead decided to lounge around our out of this world infinity pool. Looking directly out onto jungle, we had the place to ourselves for the whole morning 🏊🏊‍♀️🎋🌴

Places that should be on your list:
👉 Get the healthy Nasi Campur at Pringgas Grill - close to the monkey forest
👉 Mix and match 241 strong cocktails at Habitat

Sanur

WHAT WE GOT UP TO:

Sanur has a brilliant 5km+ beach promenade - it’s best enjoyed during sunrise for an early morning jog 🎽🌅

Places that should be on your list:
👉 Splash out on breakfast on the seafront - our choice was Soul in a Bowl Café
👉 Take a 90 minute vinyasa yoga session at Koa
👉 Finish with Gado-gado at the funky Little Bird warung

ABOUT US:

We’re a couple based in Leeds, UK. Like everyone, we love a good holiday but we're making our love of travel the main part of the next year by backpacking and traveling to new places. At the end of 2018 we decided to undertake a big travel adventure whilst we’re young and with no commitments. At the moment we've planned to be away for one year but it could be longer! We moved out of our flat and in with parents to save money and have left our jobs ready to start our once in a lifetime tour ✈️. We hope to vlog about our experiences and share with you our journey whilst backpacking. We’ve got some idea of the areas we want to visit but this may expand whilst we’re away 🗺️
