Headline Politics - Nicola Sturgeon Responds to Brexit Vote

Nicola Sturgeon, the first minister of Scotland, speaks in Edinburgh on June 24, 2016, about the outcome of the U.K. referendum on membership in the European Union. 51.9 per cent of all referendum participants voted to leave the EU but Scotland voted heavily in favour of remaining. Sturgeon discusses that discrepancy and says that a second Scottish referendum on independence from the U.K. is now very likely. In the first referendum in 2014, Scotland voted in favour of remaining in the U.K. in large part due to the threat of losing access to the EU market.
