Basketball Dynamic Warm-up
In order to prevent injuries and prepare the body for the movements and forces that it needs to be prepared for in the subsequent workout, the warm-up should be dynamic in nature and specific to the game of basketball. The warm-up should be progressive in intensity, increasing your heart rate, core temperature, and increase the blood flow and temperature of your major muscle groups. The warm-up should prepare the body for more intense work to follow in the workout by preparing the body for high intensity movements to stimulate nervous system.
