The Renovation: Episode 16 // Framing in the Office

Hello again everyone!!
We are back at it again and the foot is to the floor on the renovation of the new Lift Arc Studios shop and office location in downtown Roanoke, VA.

In this episode, Tay works with Greg Rhodes, the contractor, to lay out the walls for the new office build-out in the front corner of the building. Once that's done, he goes shopping at Black Dog Salvage, an architectural antiques and salvage company up the road, for some elements he hopes to include in the new space including some vintage, industrial, metal-framed windows, some salvaged doors, corrugated metal siding and more!

The next day, shortly after receiving a large delivery of lumber, the framing crew arrives to start framing in the office and bathroom. Shout out to Alex J Construction here in Roanoke, VA! Their crew knocked out the framing of the office in ONE DAY! Once the framing was up, Herb Stauffer (plumber) and Chris Thornton of All Service Electric set to work running the plumbing and electrical for the space.

It's getting real yall!!
