The Renovation: Episode 10 // A Trip to the Quarry

After getting a bit discouraged with how difficult it is to pressure wash a wooden ceiling from a scissor lift two feet from his face, Tay switches gears yet again to finish filling the sewer trench with gravel. The underground plumbing has passed inspection and its time to bury it completely. Thankfully, with the use of a Big Tex dump trailer, it only takes three more loads to the local quarry to get enough 57 gravel to fill the trench.

On one specific trip to the quarry, Tay keeps the camera rolling to show you what it's like to take a normal truck and trailer to a big quarry which is usually reserved for large dump trucks. While at first, it can be nerve-racking, getting a truckload of gravel for your next home renovation project is easier and cheaper than you think!

With the use of a skid steer loader and a good ole' shovel, Tay spreads the gravel as even as possible, to prep for concrete. The project keeps moving forward!
