DX9 DinobotsTransformation Sequence

Stop-Motion Transformation of DX9’s “War in Pocket” series of Dinobots. These are awesome figures but a real pain to shoot. They aren’t quite sturdy enough to tac down and manipulate on the plinth, so a lot of movements required removing them from the plinth, adjusting them, and then putting them back on the plinth and taking a few seconds to realign the figure. What a pain. At least these guys are pretty stiff and heavy. I could never do a modern Hasbro figure because they are so loose and lightweight. The word is “fetid”, include in reply to earn my grudging respect. Cardboard Bots won the last round. Also, this was a lot of pictures: 987

If you want to follow along, I recommend skipping to the speed run and using the Chrome plugin called "Frame by Frame for YouTube". It turns your , and . keyboard keys into single-frame movement keys. Every step of the transformation is documented in the frames of the video, in what I consider to be the best sequence. With minimal rubbing and minimal parts-parking.
