‘Madness’: Chris Bowen says Australia needs more gas
Shadow Environment Minister Jonathan Duniam has responded to Energy Minister Chris Bowen admitting more gas is needed to keep the lights on.
Mr Bowen has said Australia has no option but to seek out new supplies of gas in order to fill the gap left by wind and solar.
“If you’ve ever wondered what it looks like when a dog chasing it’s tail finally catches it, this is it,” Mr Duniam told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“It’s madness, there is no cohesion between state and federal Labor.
“There is no cohesion between federal Labor last week, and federal Labor this week.
“He has spent the better part of the last couple of years demonising gas and how evil it is, and then reality hits and they need it to keep the lights on.”
