Andrew Giles is a ‘shocking symbol’ of the government’s ‘failure to take responsibility’
The Australian’s Foreign Editor Greg Sheridan says he has never seen a performance “as bad” as Andrew Giles in his 45 years of professional journalism.
Mr Sheridan told Sky News host Peta Credlin that a lot of the Albanese government ministers “never seem to be on top of the basic facts” in their portfolio.
“Everything they tell you just turns out to be, to have at best, an accidental relationship with the truth.
“I now think Giles has become such a shocking symbol of the government’s failure to take responsibility.
“Its absolute inability to project any sense that it knows what it’s doing.”
