Italian city reverses proposal to ban sale of ice cream after midnight
An Italian city has reversed a proposal to ban the sale of ice cream after midnight.
Earlier this month, Milan filed legislation to ban the serving of ice cream and pizzas outdoors.
The government says the intention of the law was to protect the “tranquillity” of residents.
The local council says it will instead focus on alcohol bans.
The reversal of the proposed ban follows widespread backlash.
