Ford Ranger Raptor Review: The Pick-Up Truck With Attitude!

I've reviewed a whole host of cars during my time with Car Obsession, but I've never done a full review on a pick-up truck...until now. I've not done things by halves either, as I've chosen the steroid-munching Ford Ranger Raptor, the pick-up truck with attitude.

Despite its size, the Raptor is powered by a twin-turbo four cylinder 2.0 litre EcoBlue diesel, which offers 213hp along with 500Nm of torque. This power is mated to all four wheels via a 10-speed automatic gearbox.

Where the Raptor differs from a standard Ranger is its wider track, higher ride height, and the sort of suspension that would give a Baja race truck a run for its money. As well as that, it has chunky BF Goodrich tyres and a Terrain Management System that has no less than six drive modes!
