2022 Hyundai Kona N First Drive: Proof That Crossovers Can Be FUN!

Hello guys, and welcome back to Car Obsession. Some of you may remember that earlier this year, I drove the facelifted Hyundai i30N, a hot hatchback that packs a real punch. Hyundai, not satisfied with that, has dropped the same 2.0 litre turbocharged in to the humdrum Kona, poked it with a stick and made it angry,

The end result is the Kona N, a crossover that produces 280hp along with 392Nm of torque - that's more than the Ford Puma ST. Power is fed to the front wheels via an 8-speed DCT (no choice for a manual). 0-62mph is dealt with in 5.5 seconds, and the top speed is 149mph.

Not only is it quick, it offers value for money as well as there is a lot as standard. In regard to price, the Hyundai Kona N starts from £35,80, and it comes with a lot as standard as well as 5 year warranty. Included in the price are features such as 19’ alloys, N styling, suede and leather seats, the front of which are heated, ventilated as well electronically adjustable, and the rear outer seats are also heated.

On top of that there’s also climate control, front and rear parking sensors, reversing camera, keyless entry, adaptive cruise control, 10.25” touchscreen, 10.25” digital display, wireless phone charging pad plus a strong amount of safety systems.
