2022 Hyundai i20N Walkaround - Static Review [Car Obsession]

Hello guys, welcome back to Car Obsession and welcome to another walkaround. This time around I'm joined by the latest small hot hatch to hit the market, and arguably the biggest threat the Ford Fiesta ST has seen for quite some time.

It is of course the new Hyundai i20N, another hot hatch to be churned out from the N division following the very successful i30N. The i20N is powered by a 1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 204hp and 275Nm. This power is fed to the front wheels via a 6-speed manual and a limited-slip differential.

0-62 is dealt with in 6.2 seconds and will continue to a top speed north of 140mph - similar stats to the Fiesta ST. The i20N represents better value, especially when you consider it comes with a 5 year warranty, which also extends to track usage - something the ST simply cannot match.
