The Vegetable Garden at Patina Farm

Our fruits and veggies are really starting to take off. So far the new veggie houses have kept the rabbits and gophers away from our crop.
We’ve started to use our own compost material around the fruit trees and in the veggie houses. It enriches the soil and deters the weeds.
I’ve also started using Neem oil at night on the broccoli to fight the white flies. Our lady bugs just arrived from Rincon Vitova @ronwhitehurst We’ll set them free in the veggie houses tonight. They are a great way to fight pests as well!
