We welcome you to Patina Farm

When @stevegiannetti and I built our home, we thought of each area as an experience. We imagined what it would be like for us and our family and friends to be in each space.
We wanted the arrival to Patina Farm to be inviting and beautiful. We made every design decision with this in mind.
We limited the number of types of plant material to create a calm aesthetic, and we balanced structured plantings, like the clipped ollies and mounding pittosporum, with more relaxed plantings, like the flowing iceberg roses, to give our front garden a balance of formal and informal.
Details:
The peach roses by our gate are Polka roses. The white roses are Iceberg climbers. Our gates and garages are made of Cedar stained with a semi transparent stain Bu Super Deck in Weathered Gray. Our gravel is Hanley Gold gravel 3/8”. We share our entire design process and many of the details for our home and gardens in our books.
