My Pretend Florist Shop

I am not a florist, but I do love having fresh cut flowers in my home. I prefer using Seasonal flowers that change the look and feel of our home throughout the year.
Last month, our home was filled with wildflowers from our meadow.
In June, Our lavender will start to bloom. I’m looking forward to the calming scent the lavender will add to our home.
Today I’m creating some simple arrangements with roses as well as the flowers and herbs that are growing in our veggie garden.
The yellow roses are @david_austin_roses Graham Thomas. The pink roses are @david_austin_roses Princess Alexandra of Kent. My rose bushes are from @rosestoryfarm . I bought the Viola and many of my herb seedlings at our farmers’ market from Noey @yesyesnursery They are always organic and prolific.
I like to collect interesting containers for floral arrangements. The vintage ice buckets are from @beautifulmesshome The silver pieces are from @thecompleat_flea Some of my other favorite containers are pieces given to me by my Mom and my Grandmother. Seeing those items in my home always feels like a hug. They carry with them the memories of my childhood.
