Goodnight Cow

Today someone asked how we decide what animals to add to our Patina Farm family.
I wish I could say there was a method to our madness, but there isn’t. It’s more of a feeling. Sometimes it starts with a visit to another farm where we make a connection with a particular animal. That’s what happened with the cows. We met a sweet cow, looked deep into her eyes and fell in love. At that moment, we knew we needed a couple of cows in our life.
Of course after the initial thought, I did a lot of research to make sure we were prepared for our new family members. So far this “process” has worked for us. Every new addition to our herd has added something wonderful to our days... and nights!
