The ACE Family finally admits foreclosure on their $10 million home!

After months of dodging questions from reporters regarding the status of their home, the ACE Family posted an hour long video addressing the foreclosure of their $10 million home. The family blames two reasons for the foreclosure, and in today’s video, I discuss these reasons. My intention is not to hate on the family, but to show you ways you can avoid these mistakes.

One reason is that the contractor on the house totally scammed them by not building aspects of the house well and giving them worse materials than what they paid for. They didn’t discuss any legal repercussions for the unlicensed contractor, so that makes their story hard to believe.

The second reason is that the ACE Family never got the certificate of occupancy of the house, meaning that they couldn’t legally live in the house. The family has lived in the mansion for three years illegally, and without heat or hot water. This can be due to the realtor not having their best interests in mind, however the CO is definitely something they should’ve considered.

After the three years, they decided the house just wasn’t worth it and foreclosed on the house. Overall, I believe the ACE Family should take more responsibility than they are for the foreclosure of their house, but I’m sympathetic to their business mistakes. I end the video with my tips to how to avoid the ACE Family’s mistakes!
