1. Unclear focus - If you aren’t certain about your singular objective, your sales will be affected.

2. Bleeding cash in places you don't see - This could be software or resources you no longer use.

3. Not adapting - The world is changing rapidly and you need to change with it.

4. Sales team not closing - Generating leads does not equal sales.

5. Not generating enough leads - If there is no good marketing then sales just won’t happen.

6. Poor funnel - With a bad funnel (like one that goes directly to your website), you might generate 1% in sales. This isn’t enough.

7. Wrong people in the wrong seats - You can lose an entire business because the wrong guy is leading it.

8. Lack of focus on brand - If what you think your brand represents isn’t what your customers perceive your brand to mean, then you’re in trouble!

9. Poor company culture - Good companies survive because they have a great culture and great values.

10. Improper investments - Be careful with your resources, your time, and the people you invest in.
